The theme of this villa centres on two rather flexible concepts, where the expressive dynamics is based exclusively on two materials: bush-hammered concrete with inert ochre materials for all the walls, and terracotta tiles for both internal and external areas. Materials which, right from the preliminary stage, underline the need for harmony between design and material. The result is a joyful exaltation of the plasticity of the forms and the appeal of concrete and noble Florentine terracotta, a true humus of architecture. What transpires is an evident desire to convey the idea of the project in a concrete, almost physical and tangible way.
